In reply to Maria. It actually works as a great windmill, too. Try placing a toothpick or a sting through the holes in the middle of the star, then try blowing from the points. It makes a nice strobe light effect if you use multicolored papers :D

It is amazing that in this modular origami, we do not need to alter the angels in the folding process of the module to end up with a star with a set number of points. Instead, the star puffs up to make up for the absence of angles. It locks good, it’s 3d, and the very simple steps for a module makes this one of my favorite modular models.
